Steady, s.l.o.w. progress on my car. I changed directions after the cancellation of the convention in San Diego. The new direction is to make it more comfortable and drivable by getting more leg room and controlling air flow and temperature around the engine. I removed the crown engine support and fabricated a new crossmember under the engine in line with the motor mounts, removed the engine mounted water pump to be replaced by a remote electric pump, installed WRX/STI seats, went to a cable shifter, mounted a "motor plate" on the engine behind the passenger seat to hold a serpentine belt driven alternator, AC compressor and power steering pump down low.
