December, 2017 Update
My 66 is final back on the road after a long absence. A new 383 was added and topped with FI tech's 600HP fuel injection system. The transmission was changed from a power glide to a 4 speed and a cable shifting system was added to remove the slop from the stock shifter.
The suspension was upgraded with new shocks, polyurethane bushings, upgraded swaybars, boxed trailing arms and Crown springs. The rear hubs were rebuilt, new brakes were added while the front were converted to disk. Electric power steering, a quick steering ratio box and short steering arms make this FUN to drive. This car drives amazing and is truly on rails.
Minor changes were done to the exterior and interior. These include new seats, new 17" rims and tires and some other minor tweaks.
The car gets lots of looks from the color, and the sound gets many smiles and thumbs up.
