Alan Way, '66 Supercharged V6 Corsa - San Bernardino, Calif

November, 2014 Update
Preparing to commence the process, but using a '99 Supercharged GTP drivetrain on an aluminum 05 Impala cradle with cop control arms and sway bar... haven't seen that combination yet. Only concern is cutting up my running Corsa, so am looking for a decent 65-9 convertible body to modify and update to match the hardtop... if not, then, chop chop fizz fizz, oh what a surprise it is...
Powertrain mounted in cradle... 3.8L Pontiac Supercharged V6, Gen 5 blower with modular pulley setup, 1.7 roller rockers, stainless headers, GTP transaxle with Intense/ZZP upgrades, drilled disc brakes. L67 with Series III rods and pistons, stage 1 blower cam, '04 Eaton blower from GTP with Northstar 76mm throttle body, 1.7 forged aluminum rockers, balance shaft delete, stainless headers... trans/final drive: 4L60HD with dual roller chain, hi capacity clutches, upgraded 3rd gear apply piston and housing, hi capacity sprags, limited slip differential, all controlled by programmable ECM through HP Tuners software....
December, 2015 Update
The powertrain is now running. Engine starts and runs with its own fuel and wiring. Next step is getting the car and beginning installation.... C'mon tax time.... I talked to Chuck Rust about and it appears (for now at least) that I'll be picking up a car he has after tax time.... So progress is happening...
Rebuilt Corsa dash for car to come... wired up (all but tach at this time) and lights/gauges working... gettin' closer...

October, 2018 Update
Installing A/C combining Pontiac compressor, condenser and receiver dryer with Factory blower/evaporator and outlets (center outlet routed to defroster vents). Also running handbrake through hydraulics from console mounted lever to rear calipers (in process).
January, 2020 Update
Oil pressure issues at/around time of the October, 2019 Palm Springs Fan Belt Toss were finally traced to an instrumentation problem since resolved. Remote adjustable (both sides) side mirrors from late 70's G body are in process of installation, a noticeable and welcome improvement. Next issue to address is the limited slip differential which has finally lost its ability to be limited. This is a very rare aftermarket part for the GM FWD 4L60HD and spare parts for it are unaccountably difficult to find. If anyone happen to know anything about these all input is gratefully received. I'll be pulling it out and replacing with standard diff while trying to reverse engineer this thing.
February, 2021 Update
L67 with L32 pistons rods and crank, totally upgraded 4l65HD transaxle, 01 Aurora brakes, KYB coilovers, with cross drilled rotors. Next is bodywork, now that I've moved to San Bernardo.
