Engine
Custom air box with equal length velocity stacks and BBK TPI 58MM throttle body.
Engine block is a Rover cross block main, bored .020 over and stroked with a 3.400 Buick crank. Crank was a two piece rear seal, slight modification and it is now a one piece rear seal crank. Bottom of short block shows the girdle I made with BBC main studs.
Cylinder heads are '64 300 Buick and have extensive work. Ported, polished, CC'd and flowed. Bolt holes Helicoiled and Time Serted, oversized hardened valve seats, flash grind under valve covers and polished on the outside of heads. Manley custom made oversize head, 5/16 dia., longer stem length with Comp Cams SBC valve springs and super locks.
Rocker arms are Harland Sharp, TA Perf billet rifled drilled shafts. I have a girdle (of sort)that along with the ARP studs, minimize deflection of shafts and heads. I run a remote oil filter where I plumbed in my accusump and run an oil pressure line to rear of engine in lifter galley area. I have a 3 port manifold where I run pressure to each rocker shaft, the 3rd port is my cam spray bar. The exhaust manifolds were deburred, cast numbers ground off contoured and Jet Hot Coated. Studs used through out engine.
This is just a crazy looking picture I've always liked. After all it's JST4KXS!

Car made decent power on the chassis dyno. With the street tune it made 358hp.
