383 SBC w/ 13.5-1 compression

12 Bolt rear end with 4.88 gears
15 x 31 Rear slicks
My Grandpa collected Corvairs when he was younger and had 7 at one time. He eventually sold them all before I was born. This car was the result of my Uncle and Grandpa building a custom chassis designed by my Uncle. After the chassis was finished they welded a 1967 Corvair body to the chassis. It was a labor of love for them and took them over a decade to complete. Grandpa did all the aluminum work on the interior and it looks amazing! I took possession of the car last year and have slowly added small touches of my own and am building more power then they ever did. Hope you all enjoy!

December, 2017 Update
Upgrading to a bigger alternator this winter as well as hopefully going with a dual battery setup. Also installing a few new gauge and raising the seat height. Hoping to return to the winners circle this year. Made 3 appearances in final rounds winning once.

Installing an anti roll bar on the rear 4 link suspension to help the car launch straighter and be more consistent. Also installing adjustable shocks in the back to help with consistency.
