 I have owned 4 corvairs and am a recovering addict. Loved them but had to give them up due to job transfers. I am currently building a 73 Triumph Spitfire powered by a Olds 215 ci v8 and have been been searching for a suitable transaxle. The Vair unit is on my list but LSD and diff problems were a draw back.  I have a transaxle from a 944 Porsche but don't like the ratios or durability.

Then your web page gave me the answer.  C-5 rear married to a 4 speed. Brillant!
