Shortened S-10 frame, 4.3L 5 speed, lunati thumper cam, Edelbrock manifold and 500 cfm carb, headers, duals w/ glasspacks, 2" drop spindles and rear 3" blocks, trying to get it to stock ride height to use as a driver.
January, 2015 Update - Just sold my LS1 turbocharged 172 mph '66 to Rod Tetrault in El Cajon, California (had a spun bearing and he was looking for a project)
To the best of our knowledge, Jim built the first C5 Corvette conversion. He used original C5 drivetrain and suspension components in search of a land speed record. He was able to record 172 mph!
