The plan is to remove a 12” section from the middle to reduce the wheelbase to 96” and to install an 5.3L LS4 engine and 4T65E-HD transaxle. In order to shorten the engine compartment 6”, I need to fire up my CAD program to get all the details right. This is my second V8. The first was in 1983. Kelmark adapter, Hurst 4-speed shifter, beefed up Corvair 3.07 diff. and Muncie trans.
