Jack Lynch, 66 Crown V8 Coupe - Rock Hall, Maryland
1966 Corvair 500 with a 400 cu in V8, 4 speed, positraction and 4 spyder gears. This is the car from Tacoma Park, Md. It is the one that is called the Rock Hall Crown Car. I was letting the guy keep it there but after 3 years I kept it for storage fees. The blue car with the tornado motor went to junk yard heaven. It was not a nice conversion. I used some good body parts for maroon coupe. Someone butchered the fender flares, so I removed them. Believe it or not the rockers and door post are great. Everything aft of the doors is great. I'm in the process of sub framing the front new floor pans and have repaired the fenders and quarters with Clark parts. I still need a left rear quarter panel. I do have the seats and engine cover.
In the process of installing 88 Fiero subframe and floor to original v8 subframe, everything else is still stock. has tag 114 installed with car. Id like to get it done, but have 3 other projects plus this one. This would be a project I'd sell for about $2k. Original parts are worth the price.
