1965 Corvair convertible. Car was purchased for the express purpose to modify it into a real mid engined car with real front seat leg room and comfort. The car will have all power options, Rack and pinion steering, power brakes, power windows, door locks, cruise control with built in GPS and blue tooth connections. This will be a daily driver and not a race car. Just something I've wanted to do for a long time. I'm looking to wind up with a car that could have come from the Chevrolet Engineering and Design Studio as a prototype for a 70's production car.
C4 Corvette front suspension has been installed. Will be using early Camaro grill and tail lights, Audi V6 engine and Porsche Boxster transmission. Other mods will include a 63/67 Corvette dash, A/C, power windows and top along with push button start/stop, cruise control and modern interior.

Will mid engine W/Porsche boxster transaxel IRS/C5 so engine will actually be in the back seat and not limiting the front seat movement.
