Joe Salmestrelli - Sayre, Pennsylvania
The car may be heading towards a track day only car. She is a trip to drive on the street, however the volume of MORONS on the road and the poor condition of same are factors in this decision. I've got the track bug and she is at home on the track.
Originaly built by myself, I tired of the drag racing scene and the psuedo (punk kid) racers on the street and wanted something that I could drive on those few remaining country roads. I started the project in 1977 and it has seen many stages of evolution.

Photos from the Aug, 2018 Pittsburg Convention
Well at the Convention during the track day I threw a half shaft on the back stretch at speed. Caught my attention to say the least! Lots of damage to the driveline. Looks like I'm going to take a different tack in the driveline as the last 2 track days ended early in driveline failures. It's time for a C-6 Jerico upgrade so I can thrash her hard and have a better gear selection. Currently I use 3rd and 4th gear only and I'm sure the torque loading is stressing that tiny ring gear!
