BEFORE.....
I bought a 66 Monza that had belonged to a high school in Indiana. I plan to put a 327 powerglide in it. I have over 40 years of experience working with Chevys. I've had over a dozen old Corvairs and really like the model.
I built my car using two 66 Monzas, one with decent body and the other a rusted Crown conversion. I made body modifications using a 68 camaro rally sport grill and a 68 firebird tailpan. I installed a 350 sbc with a powerglide transmission, posi unit, 4 wheel disc brakes. Interior upgrades with camaro console with gauges and In dash tach and vintage heat and air. I painted it corvette Fairway Green. Still installing upgrades while driving around central Kentucky.
