Crown Manufacturing Co.
Registry Members,
It is with deep sadness that I report to you that Ted Trevor, the owner of Crown Manufacturing and a Corvair enthusiasts for 50 years passed away on December 6, 2016. For the past 5 years Ted has lived a comfortable life at Golden View Health Care Center in Meredith, NH close to his roots and family. Ted's daughter Jeri, a registered nurse, was with him on Monday evening for dinner and his final beer. On the morning of December 6, the staff was unable to wake Ted.
Ted was a friend to many racers of hotrods and sand buggies. He was an inspiration to many more Corvair owners and racers who shared his enthusiasm for V-8 powered Corvairs that go fast and handle well.
Ted's 88th birthday was just a couple of months away. We all hate to see him go and he will be missed. Now he goes to join such notable car builders and racers as Don Yenko, John Fitch and Carol Shelby.
Kind Regards
John Lanning, President
