Acquired the car from a fellow enthusiast in Illinois in 2024. I was drawn to the 215 style build due to its preservation of the back seat and the light weight of the Buick engine. The car is as I purchased it a year ago, but alas too many projects on the list ahead of it. Engine runs, brakes work and transmission shifts. Currently the cooling system is not filled. During the process of marketing the car online I was contact by the gentleman who built the car and he provided some interesting information - "I built this car in the 80's as a young Marine in SoCal on a shoestring budget. Raced it in Oregon through the early 90's till I sold it to someone from Cali to fund the family. It's originally a 1966 110/PG I scored off a little old lady from Pasadena. I can't believe nobody did anything to it mechanically. The engine is stroked to 266 cubes wearing ported 64 Buick 300 cyl heads. Custom grind reverse rotation camshaft that I had Ed Iskendarian carve up for me. ... Other than the rust, it looks like the day I sold it. - RS”
