Here are a few photos from the frame off restoration -
This is a 1970 Chevelle SS 454 with a numbers matching LS6 450 h.p. / 454 cu. in drivetrain. It is in tremendous, restored condition with nearly all original parts. The car has a few more factory options than most LS6s including power steering, am-fm-stereo radio, automatic transmission and cowl induction hood.
While I do have quite a bit of documentation for the car dating back many years, there is not build sheet. If you do your research you'll find that there is no record of finding a build sheet in any cars produced in the Flint Assembly plant in 1970. Having said that, I do believe that this car is truly a numbers matching vehicle and have found nothing to indicate otherwise.
I bought the car about five years ago from a fellow in Florida. Previous to my purchase, the car received a frame off restoration and engine overhaul. During shipment, fluid leaked on the upper surfaces of the car from the car above it. As a result, the car was stripped to the bare metal and received a high quality base coat / clear coat enamel paint job. Inspect the car and you'll find great paint with few imperfections.
